Betaine Hydrochloride
Betaine hydrochloride is a novel fine chemical widely used in chemical, feed, food, printing and dyeing, pharmaceutical, and other fields. Currently, its primary application is in the feed industry as a highly active biological nutrient, providing methyl groups to participate in a series of biochemical reactions in the synthesis of essential substances such as carnitine and creatine within organisms. It can replace choline chloride and methionine. Its value as an appetite stimulant in aquatic feed has been confirmed by numerous scientific studies and practices.
Nutritional Functions
Poultry
As an amino acid inner salt and an efficient methyl donor, 1 kg of betaine hydrochloride can replace 1-3.5 kg of methionine.
Improves feed intake and promotes growth in broilers; increases egg production rate in laying hens and reduces the feed-to-egg ratio.
Enhances the efficacy of coccidiostats.
Livestock
Exhibits anti-fatty liver function, enhances fat metabolism, reduces backfat thickness in pigs, improves meat quality, and increases lean meat percentage.
Increases feed intake in suckling piglets, leading to significant weight gain during the 1-2 weeks post-weaning.
Aquaculture
Has strong appetite-stimulating activity, providing specific stimulation and promotion for feeding in aquatic products such as fish, shrimp, crabs, and bullfrogs.
